Brooklands New Year Driving Tests 2004

Another fantastic weekend!

A superb start to the competitive year.

The main day dawned wet, but rapidly dried up to lure the unwitting to discard their brollies. A superb turnout of competing cars, spectating cars, Vintagents and younger Ladies . Great to see so many Forumistes - even if they appeared to be over driving to impress the dazzling Mrs B!

Maximum respect goes to Woofly whose FIAT wasn't well enough to compete, but who turned out on his Norton after a last minute rebuild. Special thanks for giving Mrs B her favourite aphrodisiac of a lung full of "R" as you left. Hope that the lovely Amanda is feeling better and we look forward to seeing all three of you on the Herefordshire.

Thanks to Bob Wimmer, Allan Winn, Neil Murray, and our fellow Marshals for their work in making the event happen, and the competitors for turning out and providing so much fun.
